The paradigm shift that was needed to significantly lower the cost of PACS has occurred. ImageGrid™ is a feature rich and yet cost effective PACS appliance, consisting of a suite of sophisticated DICOM software capabilities closely integrated with state-of-the-art hardware. As a fully integrated storage and server solution, ImageGrid provides initial RAID 5 archiving capacity ranging from 1 terabyte (TB) to tens of terabytes in raw capacity. Regardless of the initial capacity, ImageGrid's archive is easily and cost effectively expandable.

ImageGrid's vast capabilities allow you to optimize your workflow and significantly improve operations and patient care. As a web-based solution, ImageGrid™ is designed to improve an imaging center's ability to communicate with referring physicians and affiliated facilities.

ImageGrid™ has proven compatibility with most DICOM viewing workstations, including leading 3D volumetric visualization solutions. ImageGrid™ customers have been able to effectively implement necessary PACS functionalities in a very cost effective manner while devoting funds to new modalities and better patient care. ImageGrid™ is a multi-modality and multi-workstation capable system and customers can easily add modalities and workstations without any additional fees.

ImageGrid's embedded database, appliance architecture and scalability make it the ideal solution for facilities that have a 64-slice CT. These studies can be as large as several gigabytes and ImageGrid™ has been able to efficiently receive, manage and route these studies in multi-modality and high volume environments.

In multi-physician or multi-location environments, ImageGrid's archive can be partitioned along multiple AE Titles. This feature allows multiple physicians or multiple locations to use the same ImageGrid system, while keeping their respective data completely segregated.
