The ImageGrid™ RIS system (IG RIS) is a module used to create a fully integrated RIS PACS solution for the radiology environment. This RIS system offers an cost effective and feature-rich RIS PACS integration designed to streamline and improve the workflow of radiology medical image processing. As a web-enabled application residing on the ImageGrid PACS appliance, the RIS module allows radiologists, technologists and staff to better manage and access patient data and radiology medical imaging information from a single platform. The RIS system can be accessed from any PACS workstations on a Local Area Network, Wide Area Network or remote workstations via a Virtual Private Network connection.
